Christmas Already?

Yep its true...we have already had Christmas, but it was only with my mom's side of the family. We all had so much fun. Kurtis (my baby cousin) couldn't wait for everyone to finish eating so we could open the gifts.

My Christmas day started at 6:00 in the morning. I had to be at work at 7 and I didn't go to bed till 2. My best friend Jamie and my cousin Monica spent the night. Jamie wasn't even in bed at 4:30. Crazy I know. So at 6:30 I am off to work. I worked till 12 in the afternoon so it wasn't so bad. Well when I got there, there was so many people already there. The lines were backed up all the way to the clothes. It was rediculous. So time goes by, at 9:30 or so I go on my break, then comes around 12. I am still working. No one has ever decided to come relieve me to leave and the line was getting longer and longer. (If you have ever tried to return someting at Wal-Mart you would understand) So FINALLY around 12:15insh someone comes to take my spot. Now I am trying to rush to the back and clock out so I can leave. I am finally out in the van, a few seconds later, what do you know I am fast asleep. When we got to Aunt Rachel's we ate, and boy was I hungry! Then we open the gifts. It was so much fun watching Kurtis open his. Once he got it he shredded it open. Now it was time to build a snow man. It was so much fun and very cold.

Well one Christmas down and one to go! :)

My New Laptop

Well...I am finally going to put something new on here. I still didn't get the camera to work, but that is ok. I will see about pictures online.

So...I got a new laptop. It's pink. I really like it. It is so cute. It even came with Wi-Fi. So I am sitting in the school library using it. It is so much fun. Here is what it looks like.
Well so I need to get off of here. I have a final that I need to be studing for. Wish me luck ya'll!

Sorry

Sorry it is taking so long to make a new one. I can never get the camera to download pictures on Debbie's computer. So once I get that done I will be able to do something. Sorry

Old Fashion Sunday

Saturday evening Mom, Debbie, Bentley, and I left for Jenny and Wesley's. When we arrived at Edinburgh we stopped at the mall. Mom bought a new skirt and Debbie bought 3 very good apples. They were M'n'M, Snickers, and Peacon Bear Apples. They were so good, but VERY expensive. Then we left and went to Jenny and Wesley's. We stayed for maybe 15 mins, packed our stuff in, then headed off to Wal-Mart. We may have stayed at Wal-Mart for maybe 45 mins. Then went back to their house. Mom and Debbie were trying to fix Jenny's dress. All 8 1/2 inches of material. Then by the time that was done it was time to go to bed. I (of course) had to sleep on the couch. Sunday morning arrived and it was time to get ready. Mom, Debbie, and I wore normal clothes, but not Jenny and Wesley. They were dressed really funny looking. So then they left for church.

Choir Jacket

This is what our choir jacket looks like. At first when I seen it I didn't like it at all. I thought it looked like a Grandma jacket. But like I always do I got used to it and now I like it. It is actually pretty comfertable. The guys ties are really cool too. I love to be in choir. (Well actually this year it is just orchestra now, but still) Traveling with them is so much fun. Even though I don't get to go on choir tour, I still get to travel with them on Sundays. It is a blast.

(That car behind me is my new car. It is an '05 Saturn ION. Ain't she cute. We call her Lucy. My mom gave her that name.)

Choir

Well tomorrow is the choir's first Sunday out. I'm a little nervous just because I haven't gotten to play the songs very much. But I know the Lord will help me. Sunday morning we are going to Pilgram and Sunday night we are going somewhere in Indy. All the songs are very good. The ronud about song I really like, but it is so long. We sing like 3 1/2 verses of it. But it is a very pretty song. Bro Glick wrote it.

This blog is another one where mom tells me I need to update. I have a really boring life so it is hard to keep it updated. So...how is this mom?

Old Fashion Days

Well I started my Saturday like I always do. Going to work at 7 a.m. Not a very good start I might add. I worked till twelve. Couldn't wait to get off so I could go to Old Fashion Days so I could see all the very cute guys there. :) After work I had to change in the bathroom. Didn't want to go to Old Fashion Days in my work uniform. I wouldn't get any guy looking like that. JUST KIDDING! So I hurried up and left. Got there and didn't stay very long. Jamie and I had to get something to eat. Didn't want to eat there so we went to McDonalds on 32. Let me tell you, that was one of the NASTIEST McDonalds I have ever eaten at. After we ate we went back. Walked around a little bit then it was time for the football game. This is where all the cute guys get together and beat each other up. This is a very serious time. Bro. Glick even go knocked out. He's fine by the way. They got to play for maybe 30 mins. then they had to leave the field to go play at the practice field. (I guess they didn't get permission to play on the real field.) So we all hopped in our cars and went to the practice field. There were two games being played on the one field. Visitors vs Visitors and GBS vs UBC. Of course GBS won. I was rooting for that team. They played two games, but I only stayed for one. It was getting to hot. Before I left I got to say hi to one of my old classmates. I haven't gotten to talk to him since he went off to college. (Got two hugs from him. :) I was happy about that!) So Monica and Jr. and I went home for a couple hours. Then I got bored at home so we went back to the school. We hung out for forever. Then it was FINALLY time for the hay ride. Of course like always I didn't get ask by a guy, but I was a shaperone...Joys...let me tell you. Then I was finally able to go home. During this day I was loosing my voice got made fun of and just didn't feel good. I wake up Sunday morning and I don't get to go to church because I am to sick. (OH just to let you know, no guys didn't notice. I tried. :) )

New Blog

Well my mom told me to post something new. I don't really have anything to say. I told you my life is boring. Lets see...today I went to work at 7 a.m., got a migrane and blurry vision, left work at 12:30 p.m., came home and took a long nap, and practiced. Debbie and I have to sing tommorrow night at church. I don't really like singing in front of people. Being in choir didn't bother me, but just singing a duet does. So that is my new post just for my mom. (BORING) :)

Alarm Clocks

Alarm clocks can be such a pain. Today I had to be at orchestra practice at 10:30. So I set my alarm to get up at 7:30. I got up, was getting ready to get into the shower, then I was like, "this is to early. I'm going to bed till 8:30." So I set my alarm what I thought was 8:30 a.m. Went to bed a fell fast asleep. All of a sudden I woke up right out of a dead sleep. Looked at the clock and was like OH SHOOT! It's 10:00. I was supposed to be leaving right now. I called mom upset and she was like, "well what am I supposed to do about it?" So I got up and called someone that is in orchestra and told her what happened and said I wasn't going to make it. After I hung up I got to thinking if I hurry I still will make it with at least 45 mins of practice. I checked my phone to see why it didn't go off. (here come the complete blonde moment.) I had set it for 3:30 a.m. So I took a shower and got ready and was there at 10:45. That was a record for me. So here I am walking in the gym late and it is really quite. My shoes start to squeak really loud. It was so embarishing.

9/11

Anybody remember where they were when they heard about what happen on 9/11? I remember like it was yesterday.

I think I was in 7th grade. We all had just gotten back from lunch. All the teachers knew what happened, but of course wouldn't tell us what was going on. I went to my science class and they had the TV on. I really still wasn't sure what to think. We watched it all class period in amazement. After school was over mom picked me up and we went to get gas. Oh my word the gas station was packed. I think everyone thought it was the end of the world. We waited a good half hour just to pump gas. Ever since that day, I have been more into my country.

Jamie's Birthday

Jamie had a birthday party on Friday and Saturday. On Friday we all mostly stayed up and talked. She opened her gifts. Didn't go to bed till about 2:45, and we had to be up around 7. Saturday we went to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. Anyways...we finally made it to Sixs Flags. It was so much fun. Seen a lot of gay women there. That really made me sick. Rode a lot of rides. Got really really wet. One of the rides hurt my neck. Seen almost all of the Loony Tunes charaters too. That was their theme this year. We stayed till 8. That was when the park closed. I rode home with Jim and Joy, (Jamie's mom and dad), Brittany Gibson, and Tiffany Rose. As we were driving along we notice Joy was scratching Jim's head. We thought it was pretty funny so all of us 3 girls started to sratch his head. He was like "alright to many hands". Joy seen what we were doing and she laughed so hard. She didn't even notice that was what we were doing. We then stopped for ice cream at DQ. The cashier told Brittany that one small cup of ice cream had about 900 calories in it. She about flipped. After we all got our ice cream we headed for home.

One of those days...

Have you ever had "one of those days?" Well, it has been more than just one. Today and yesterday I have been calling everyone by the wrong name. Bad thing is they catch what I just said. :) It is actually pretty funny, but one of these days I am going to do it over the intercome where everyone can hear it. Then it will be REALLY embarishing. To top it all off I haven't been feeling well. It started off feeling like a toothache, then my chest started to hurt. During this time of illness (ha ha) I was trying to put a cart somewhere. I wrecked it into another cart. Then I really lost it. I laughed so hard, but the thing was, I was the only one laughing. (This is a good sign saying GO HOME!)

Family Pictures

On Saturday afternoon, mom and I were able to go down and visit Jenny & Wesley. It seems like when ever we are down there, as a family, we have to get our pictures taken. So we all dressed a like and went into town to do pictures. We were going to the park, but when we got there it was closed. There were so many people there though. It seemed like all of Columbus was there. We drove a little farther and found out that there was a free bluegrass concert. So we went to the Cummons Motor Muesum. (Or whatever it was) It had a really pretty fountain. When we got out some one asked us if we were German. We took over 80 pictures that day. We were pretty tired of taking pictures after all that.

Here it goes

Hi. I am very new to this, but I wanted to give it a try. My life isn't that exciting, so I might not keep this very long.

I work at Wal-Mart in Carmel. I have worked there since December, and believe you me it can get very stressfull. I work at the Customer Service Desk, and I get some of the CRANKIEST people that come in there. (Is that even a word, did I spell it right?) Anyways...

I just started college at Ivy Tech. It is very different from high school. Having a different schedule, not going to school everyday, and even getting out of class an hour early. I love that part. I am majoring in Medical Assisting. I can't wait to graduate so I can get out of Wal-Mart. Anyone who works there or has worked there, you know what I mean.

Well I hope I didn't bore you to badly with this. I will try to keep this thing updated.
