Third Day of Choir Tour

~Tuesday Morning March 18th (Third Day of Choir Tour)
I can’t remember what time we had to be at the church, but for some reason 6:30 a.m. comes to mind. We had biscuits and gravy and eggs for breakfast. It was so good. Biscuits and gravy is one of my most favorite breakfast meals. It reminds me of my dad when he would always make it on Sunday morning. Today we had to travel from Ohio to Beckley West Virginia. If I remember correctly this is the day that we ate supper at Cici’s Pizza. This is where Josh Emery learned how to whistle a straw. I was the first one to start so he must have watched me do it. He was so excited that he figured it out, he went around to each table and was showing everyone. I think this was also the day we went to Wal-Mart. I do have some pictures from Wal-Mart, but unfortunately they are on my phone and I can’t get them onto my computer. The church that we were at was a very small church. Bro. Fish our bus driver was having a hard time getting the bus into the parking lot. He is an amazing driver and he finally got it in there. The saying is “he could fit this bus into the eye of a needle if he wanted to”. Today was also Bro. Glick’s birthday so on the bus we all “blew” balloons at him, and when we got to the church during devotions the choir and orchestra gave him a huge birthday card, a picture of the whole choir, a gift card to a Christian bookstore, a gift card for Sis. Glick to Christopher and Banks, and extra money. This is the night that I stayed with Felicia, Jenn, and Zuly. The couple that we stayed with took us to IHOP for an after service meal. It was very delicious. I had never been there before. I had the chocolate chip pancakes. After we ate we went back to there “mansion”. Their house is so pretty. Jenn and Felicia stayed upstairs, and Zuly and I stayed down stairs in a finished basement. It was like another house. It had two bedrooms, a full bath, dinning room, living room, a kitchen, and like three different doors leading to the outside. Upstairs on the main floor also had a baby grand piano which Jenn fell in love with right away.

Second Day Of Choir Tour

~Monday Morning March 17th (Second Day of Choir Tour)
We ate breakfast. We had cinnamon rolls, fruit, yogurt, bagels, and eggs
We loaded up and headed to Beech City, OH. I don't remember how long it took us. It was a jean day. We went to the mall for like 2 hours. Had lunch than got back on the road. Traveled once again then made it to Beech City. Don't remember what time though. (Everyday is pretty much a blur until around Thursday. I mean I can remember all of the people that I stayed with though. I think!) Had a wonderful meal around 3:30. I wasn't very hungry, but you still have to eat to be nice. So after we ate my friend and I went to change. Then we all had devotions then service. This is the first service that I started praying with the group during half time. See some of the guys decided to get together after the first half and pray for the second half of the service. I am so glad that I started doing that. We had an amazing time in prayer. I felt God's presence so near to us. If no one would have came and gotten us we all would have been late for the second half. Went back into the service with our minds clear and again God's presence was there in a mighty way. Now that service is over it was time to meet our people. After we met them I decided to change. I was almost ready. I was putting on my hose, my skirt clear up to my thighs and a guy from the church decided to walk in. VERY EMBARRISHING! Needless to say I didn't see him for the rest of the night. Now it is time to go to the people's house. We had to drop off a 90 year old lady first. I stayed with the same girl. For a snack we had ice cream and cookies. I stayed up till about 12:30 then I decided to go to bed while they were still talking.

Here is a picture from the first night...

First Day Of Choir Tour

I am sure that there was a lot more stuff that happened, but I cannot remember everything.

~Sunday Morning March 16th (First Day of Choir Tour)
We had to be at the school with our luggage ready to load around 7:30. We left for Indianapolis, IN around 8. The service started at 10 so we usually have and hour or an hour an a half to set everything up. Had the service, then around 12 it was time to load the equipment back up and we went to eat. We had an amazing meal! Can't remember what it was though. I think ham. Back on the road to Dayton, OH.

~Sunday Night
Service started that night at 7 so we probably left Indy around 2:30. Traveled, traveled, rest stop, traveled, and more travel. Got to the church changed into our choir outfit, had devotions, and got ready for the service. Finished service around 9 and went to eat. (The church's usually provide us amazing food.) We had spaghetti. I remember that because me and three of my friends were trying to eat this on the bus. Where we were supposed to eat was connected to the church and we didn't feel like it was appropriate to eat inside a building that is connected to the church. Then it was time to meet the family that I would be staying with with my choir partner. (Now she wasn't supposed to be my partner, but her partner got kicked out of choir so she needed someone.) We stayed with this 89 year old lady. She talked our leg off. It was so funny she told us that she would go to bed no later than 11 p.m. We went to bed earlier than her. She didn't go to bed till about 1:30 a.m. So we went to bed and we had to be at the church around 9.

Choir Tour

I am so excited! I can't wait for this Sunday! We are leaving for choir tour. I have been excited about this since Bro. Glick said I could go. I will be missing a week of school though oh and work too. But I have talked to both my teachers and my managers at work, and they are totally fine with it. I will try and take some pictures. (First I have to talk Debbie into letting me take her camera) If I don't get to, I know a lot (I mean ALOT) of people that take pictures of everything. This one guy even took a picture of a chandeler last year.

We will be going to churches in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virgina, Alabama, and Indiana. I think that there is a few more place, but I am just finding out this kind of stuff through the grape vine. (If you know what I mean)

Note to Jenny: Does this make you feel better? :)

Happy Birthday to Me

Well I am going to be 19 here in about 2 hours. It is kinda wierd to think that I have only one year left to be a teenager. Time really does fly. I can remember turning 5. Well I liked what my sister did with this picture, so I thought I would use it too.

I WANT SUMMER

I am so tired of winter and all the ice! I just wish summer would just get here. Well in 2 weeks I will be in a place where it just might be 90 degrees out. I am looking forward to that. Choir tour in 2 weeks. Yipee!!!!

Today is just a really nasty day. It has beed raining all day, and now it is just ice coming down. I had to call off of work today because I could barely get out of the front door. It was almost frozen shut. Everytime I look out the window the road looks icer and icer. (Not sure if that is even a word, but i'm going to use it anyways. (: ) I am kinda glad that I don't have to go to work though. The only thing is is that I am not getting paid to stay at home. **Oh if only that worked, she cried!**
